The existing master bathroom at the Markwood residence was original and outdated. The existing layout underutilized the space in the master suite and didn’t include a bathtub or a walk-in closet. These missing amenities are now what individuals typically expect for a bathroom retreat. Taking the same area allocated to the original bathroom we added a soaking tub big enough for two, reimagined the shower space into a walk-in fitted with dual shower heads, and created a walk-in closet that was only connected to the bathroom. This design as transformed and opened the space, bringing more beauty and function to the space.
